A Cut Above Charity Pre-Event

Hi hi, it's been a while since I last updated about the event. It's finally here, A Cut Above Charity is just less than a week away. And today we started our pre-event at TAR College Canteen 2 foyer. Let's just say everyone was busy with their own department's work and ambassadors arrangement.

I left for college a little earlier today because the product sponsor that I was in charged of delivered the products to the canteen 2 today. I arranged them to arrive at 10am, so I had to be a little earlier than them, but disaster struck when the traffic was so bad at MRR2, I didn't expect the jam to start at Sri Petaling...I was not worried because I was still early, it was only 8.50am and I still have more than an hour to reach college, but around 9.30am, while I'm still stuck at the turtle bottle neck near Pandan Jaya, the delivery man called me and told me they are already at the college...

I was like OMG!!! So after that stretch of turtle bottle neck the road was smooth again, and I reached college before 10am!!! LOL, but they were already there, so I felt a little bad, and the product I am referring to is the Cremo Ice Creams!!!
You can only get them when you buy the hair cut tickets at only RM10 during our pre-event at TAR College Canteen 2 foyer booth!!! *while stocks last* With the RM10 ticket, you will be getting a haircut from A Cut Above Academy trainees with quality assured checked by the ACA Academy educators, so don't worry, you won't look ugly. All funds collected will be channeled to a beneficiary home!
So hurry, get your haircut tickets ASAP to get a free Cremo Ice Cream!!! What else do you want? You get a nice haircut, one Cremo ice-cream, and you get to do charity also!!! And here's a peek at the Cremo Ice Cream freezer...waiting for you!!!
Comes in many flavour - Vanilla, Pineapple, Strawberry, Chocolate, Coffee, Lime, and etc...hurry while stocks last!

Another Disastrous Charity Event Post

Disastrous Event was deleted, so here's an update about the event. Everyone has to give RM50 to the event as we still couldn't find any sponsor. *clap*

Everyone was "summoned" to a meeting today organized by the event members and not the leaders, apparently some of us are not happy with the RM50 issue and also how the leaders are not communicating well with the members. I had no idea what the meeting was about, so I was one of the two AMS student that attended the meeting along with Priya.

So there were some complaints that everything was kept a secret from the members as we don't know what are the progress of the leaders or each department, so some of us are really frustrated about it, so everyone who went was trying to find solutions that can solve our current situation.

So now we're approaching Kidzcare again...after all the hurrah's we're going back to Kidzcare again, and we haven't approach A Cut Above, so, what happens if ACA doesn't want to come?
Sponsor, currently cash sponsor approached YTL's YES, if they're not sponsoring us they will target Tune Talk...haiz, I've lost my mood already, still don't have general proposal and head-letter, how can I send out letters to look for sponsor, and it's already end of week 9, week 13 is the event!!!

Things are so messed up, I "donated" that RM50 + RM15 for printing fees (paid today week 9 last semester still need RM15??) + and another RM10 for transcript fees....= RM75, and I bought Elixir last week, and a new modem yesterday RM90!!!

And there's still so many things to buy: Glee: The Music, Volume 4, Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album, and Glee: The Music, The Rocky Horror Glee Show! OK, the CD's are not urgent so it can wait. And so many more stuff I don't even know what are those things, and I've been so stressed up that I forgot to bring my drinking bottle to college for to consecutive times! Grrrr......this event thing is really driving me crazy

And there's another meeting tomorrow for product sponsor...I'm getting Crazy!!!!

Year Two Final Semester

Time flies...I can't believe week 4 for this semester ended just like that. This is the final semester for my Advanced Diploma in TARC...as usual, feels like I didn't learn anything yet this semester...LOL.

Yesterday, LJMU came to the college to "sell" the University...I'm quite disappointed with the presentation as they told us the same thing as the previous year. And the slides are the same! Unbelievable...they told us what to expect for our studies during the program and stuff...and also fees! haha

When they briefed us about our accommodation, my eyes started to fill with tears. I'm not sure what I heard the presenter said, the college hall sound system was terrible, I heard that they say students will have to share a toilet, we will have our own bathroom - to bath. Then I don't what happened, I think they said there's no toilet bowl in our own toilet in the room...I was like: "Do I have to go out of my room everytime I need to pee or poo?" And share it with other people?!

I almost cried in the college hall when I thought I have to share toilet-bowls with the other students! I don't want to go out of the room to pee or poo everytime...those toilet will definitely smell bad or be really dirty!!! But according to my memory, (LOL) the pictures I saw from my senior Facebook, the toilet has a basin, shower, and a toilet-bowl....so who on earth heard the wrong stuff and gave me a big fright!!!

After all the hoo-hah talk from the university, everything finally started to sink in, they told us we just need to bring 3 sets of clothes there as the summer sales there is crazy and everything is really cheap! I was like, if everyone goes to the summer sale and buy the same clothes together then won't everyone be wearing the same thing? =.=" but it sounds really tempting, seniors said the luxury we could only afford is either Starbucks or sandwiches...harh...I was like, that's so sad...I'm gonna lose weight if Sandwich is the "luxury" students only can get...so what's the non-luxurious stuff? And I'm not a Starbucks or coffee addict so I can live without it!

Then another problem: choose your housemates, each house will have 5-6 people, so I guess I don't have many choice here...to choose the housemates. And apparently they hinted me I'll be cooking for everyone...I don't think I will have the mental strength and energy to cook a nice meal for myself when I'm so far away from home...which really scares me when I think about it...the lucky thing is that no one smokes maybe except for one of the guys...the senior, I don't really know him and we're not sure whether is he planning to go or not...

Family is planning to buy an apartment in UK, but no decision has been made where to buy yet...first choice is in London and I think the second choice will be in Bath...to buy an apartment in UK is really a big investment...because it's in  pounds...and a two room apartment cost around 185-300K in London!!! Convert it to RM it will cost $$$...of course you need time to think carefully whether is it worth buying...too bad the University is in Liverpool and the apartment is either in London or Bath...so no point dreaming of not staying in the hostel...haih...

I think I better stop worrying about all this Degree program thingy...I have yet to complete my thesis and whole Advanced Diploma course yet...and it's only week 5 next week...9 more weeks to go...ugh...another thing, everyone is planning to apply for the Kojadi loan...should I apply too? for emergency use in UK or whatever reason...but the interest rate is quite high...argh...pass everything in college first and worry about all this later...

Happy New Year!

Time flies...Read Between The Lines will be turning 1 in less than 15 days. And its been a while since I updated. I've been really busy with the college assignments and travelling a lot to the south celebrating birthdays, Christmas, and a "belated" wedding dinner...

Let's see...what happened did in December 2009...went to Malacca to celebrate my 21st birthday with my cousins and stayed in Holiday Inn. Nice five star hotel and was charged more for the room with sea view...

Went to BP to celebrate Christmas, cousins around the world came back...stayed in cousin's hotel and charged the Japanese meal we had to the room bill...LOL, we occupied 5 rooms (excluding adults) and made prank room calls with each other, ran in the hallway, took the elevator up and down, used the emergency stairs to our rooms, got unexpected free stuff from the receptionist when we taught we have to pay for it upon request...that's what you do and get in your cousin's hotel!

Went to Johor Bahru and had steamboat at cousins' new house and stayed in Redang house while the adults stayed in the Austin house...went to Old Town Coffee Cafe in our pyjamas (so embarrassing) for supper...I was already half asleep in the cafe...

It's week 13 of the college semester and we have 2 mid-terms and 1 more assignment to hand in...it's really hectic this semester...final exam starts on the day of RBTL 1st anniversary...

I'm really worried for my statistics paper as I have no idea what I learned in the past 12 weeks, statistics means maths - I'm struggling to understand to subject and the tutor told us each chapter is coming out during the final exam...I think I need the yellow paper for the 1st time!

Another lecturer told us in order to pass Mr. EuroDeli's paper we need to memorize the textbook and puke everything you read in the text book on the answer sheet. OMG...I'm so not ready for the final exam!

We won't be going back to college next semester as the college will be sending us for our internship...And many of us are still waiting for our employers to call us for interview...some are rejected and some are left no where...OMG...I hope they don't call when I need to study for my final exam!

Mr. Insulter EuroDeli

It's bad enough when a 40++ year old lecturer gives a boring lecture, but to praise himself as a powerful speaker after in a boring almost empty lecture hall is like taking narcissism to a whole new level!

Imagine this: after 5 weeks of his lecture, i have no idea what he taught us! My definition of a good speaker and lecturer is when students pay 100% attention to their speech and understands the message that they convey!

This STUPID Mr. EuroDeli can't even pronounce Nike and Apple properly. During one of his lecture, he was yapping away and suddenly he said something - "Nick-Kay", i didn't know what he was saying until he said "Nick-Kay" the sport brand!!! I was like "What The...!!!" "Nick-Kay"? Are you kidding? He can't even pronounce Nike properly and he calls himself a good speaker? Everyone in the lecture hall was laughing away at him and he taught he was giving a good speech and continued yapping about his "Nick-Kay" and he doesn't know what we're laughing about...

Everytime before his lecture, he takes more than 5 minutes to open his file from the pen drive. The STUPID excuse he gave us was and I quote him "I'm using Vista at home and the college is using XP"! Are you kidding?! It's the same way to open the files from your pendrive on Microsoft Vista and XP!!! And he gave such a STUPID excuse! And when he uses the PowerPoint slides, he doesn't switch it to full-screen slide show mode. We can see everything on the projector. (Maybe he doesn't know how to switch to full-screen slide show mode) LOL

Last week, his lecture was boring again (as usual), there was some content error in his Power Point slides, apparently the content was not linked to the next slide, and he didn't know what content was missing in his slide, guess how he solve his problem...he SKIPPED the WHOLE thing and went to the next sub-topic...This happen a few times last week, so many slides and sub-topic was skipped and we had no idea what we are learning anymore. Since we're lost, and he pretended nothing happened, we just chat away among ourselves after that.

His voice...is so loud!!! His hobby is to scream suddenly and raise his voice during his speech, I can feel my eardrums are trying to pop and bleed everytime, and I have to cover one side of my ears because his voice is so loud and it really hurt my ears...I'm serious about it! And I heard other course mates saying that his saliva spits is really terrible when he's talking (I experienced it in the tutor class when i saw his saliva is leaking from both sides of his mouth...EUW MUCH!)

His walking and standing posture, is definitely a sore to the eyes. The way he walk is like trying to kick the small stones on the ground, it looked so uncivilized to me, and when he stands, he pulls his pants up to his tummy and the whole pants looked so "yucky"...*vomits* I can't describe it.

I think Mr. EuroDeli don't realise this, his hands is always making weird gesture on the table like the finger move from left to right and right to left when he's talking, and drawing circles on the table with his fingers....that's so creepy!

My purpose of this post, he insulted me and my class, or should I say...my course MS today. In the tutorial class today, he picked me to answer his tutorial questions, when I was about to answer he asked to use my own words, i wasn't prepared to use my own words, so I just translated the text on the book to my own words without preparation...and I was translating and talking at the same time and I wasn't presenting it properly (even I myself know I'm not presenting properly) I answered all his questions with the correct answers, and he told me to "talk more"

I was like..."talk more" about what?! I stood there quietly and waited and looked at him...and he wanted the advantages of the things I said...WTH...the questions on the whiteboard didn't want advantage answers...and he gave me F for giving such a lousy speech...F!@# LAH, STUPID MAN don't even know what he wants in his questions and asked for answers that is not related to the question! This happened again when my classmate presented his answers for the 2nd question, Mr EuroDeli wanted something else again, another classmate tried to help the 2nd "victim" and Mr EuroDeli screamed and shouted at her when she helped victim 2 to answer the question...WTH!

And the end of the tutorial class...he said our course is "Rojak" WTH!!! How can a lecturer insult his own students and the course that he's teaching?! I no longer have any respect towards him.

P.S: Rojak is a Malaysian food. Cucumbers, Pineapples, Papayas, and few other fruits are mixed together with spicy prawn paste.

The Outcome of the Advanced War

I'm so relieved, as one of my friend describe the feeling "finally the fart came out"...LOL. For me, "my shoulder doesn't feel so heavy"...for now.

My 1st Advanced Diploma final exam results was released today, i'm a little disappointed but really relieved. I passed everything, including the horrible research paper...i was so worried that my answers are wrong for that mystery question, it seems those answers was correct.

As usual, i got B- for all the KFJ related subject AGAIN. Why do i always get B- for her paper? Ugh. There's no A for me for last semester subjects...i got straight B's. I'm also surprised that Ms Narciss didn't get any A =.=" I should be happy that i don't have to go through those stuff again...especially TMJ stuff

The Mystery Question

The final exams for Advanced first semester is finally over...and it was horrible...before that...i lost my internet connection a week before the exam started...actually it was a good thing...i can concentrate more on my notes and books, and i got back the connection yesterday...a day before freedom...LOL

So my hotmail account exploded with 250++ emails over 2 weeks, my blogS rotted, my facebook account notifications is longer than a girl shopping list, and the money in Nuffnang increased too...WUAKAKA...LOL...so without any internet, i only entertainment is the Hong Kong TVB drama series, Disney Channel, Star World...basically Astro...and The Nanny!!!

Studying can be so tiring for Advanced...and i can't be studying whole day...so i watched some Hokkien drama on 8TV, i don't even understand i had to depend on the subtitles...i don't watch Hokkien shows...i was bored and stressed up...

Back to the exams...i think i might need to fill up the "yellow form" for the first time...OMG, thanks to that Sour Vegetable Pork lecturer...coming out with a question that i can't find the answer in the text book or in the notes...even after the exam, no one knows what's the answer for the question...i asked SFA but...she said no one knows the answer...OMG...and she told me to pray...wow...when was the last time i prayed to God?...

That question cost me 30 MARKS!!! and i lost 10 marks to the 3rd question! 40 marks gone...plus the other question...minus here minus there...oh no...i don't want to read the same stuff again for the third time...we did the same paper in DMS...Why TH are we learning the same stuff over and over again??!!?!!

Imagine studying 50 page of textbook and only 3 page came out...sucks right? Haizzzz...i hope the crap that i wrote for that Mystery question is the stuff the lecturer wants...or maybe i can google for the answer...ugh, better not, i rather be prepared for the worst when the results comes out...PRAY

Might update blog once every two days since it's the holidays...or once a day...Movies! TV! and stuff to crap...

War Of The Advanced

The final class ended today for this semester, which means is time for the final exams AGAIN. Four papers in eight days, imagine the torture.

I'm very worried because i did badly during the mid-term, the lecturer said the answer was not "advanced" enough...DUH...because they never teach us to write "advanced-ly"...i can't imagine the finals...it's going to be harder than the mid-term exams...

I don't know...some subjects i scored well...but some was far from OK...getting 51/100 is not acceptable! It will be very dangerous when the mark converts with the final score...Some i did really really bad in my MS history...it's like my 1st semester DMS assignment results again

This time when we get our exam slips, we were given extra notices from the college, telling us to wear mask, take care of our health, do not attend the exam if we have "the thing"...OMG

Even last semester they didn't give us such notice, maybe it was not so serious yet...exam starts on 4th September 2009 and ends 12 September 2009...ugh...exam on a Saturday...

I think there won't be any post or update till 12 September 2009...unless there's something worth posting...

Shock!

There's a few things that i'm shock about...everything that happened in sequence recently.

First, after emo-ing last Thursday, i went back to college on Friday...i was still emo-ing...to make my mood "better"...i found out i failed my mid-term exam...WTH...failing mid-term...i was speechless...the first thing that went through my head was...failing mid-term...final exam will be harder?! how am i going to pass final if i fail something like mid term...i was shocked to the bone...and i had to take a make good test?! OMG...i immediately thought of giving up...i was emo-ed...that was last Friday...

Second, i msn-ed with one of my close friend from MBS high school few days ago...i studied in a boy school during my high school times...so while catching up with this particular close friend, who also studied in TARC for two years...but something happened he didn't graduate...he told me he found a boyfriend...i was like...oK...he had one in TARC before with another classmate of his...=.="

So, i asked him where he found his bf...he said he's working in a "homo" pub...i was like...HARH?! he told me to go check out his facebook profile because i asked him to show me his BF picture...so he tagged me in one of the picture...ok...the BF is his collegue...i was not shock that he's in a relationship...he said he was "attached"...i was like...can't you just say you are in a relationship?!

After visiting his facebook profile, i noticed one of his status that says "my fans please come and support me!" i was like...what are you doing at the pub you're working at that ou need fans to support you? he said waiter and PR...PR?! PR can mean many things...if you get what i mean...and later he told me that he drags...

i was like...what is drag?...drag is dressing up as a girl...i was SHOCK...harh...he told me he dressed up as a girl at night and goes to the lake with a bunch of malay guys who drags and hang out by the lake...i was so speechless...and he showed me a few pictures of him dressed up as a girl with really heavy make up...mascara, lipstick, eye shadows, i don't know what the other girl make ups are...i don't use them =.=" and long hairs...

I was shocked...and speechless...i didn't know how to react that i almost cry...LOL...i called another close friend of mine in high school...we're in a same gang...he said i sounded shaky...i told him about our friend new hobby...he was shock too but not as shock as me...i don't mind guys dressing up as girls during Halloweens...but doing this that often seems unhealthy...i was like, does his family know he's doing this??

I find my friend hobby mentally unhealthy...and i thought i was the one with serious mental problems...i didn't know how to react...so i just praised that he look nice in the girls clothes...i don't mind if my friend is gay...but dressing up as a girl...is like a whole new level...i still can't accept something like that...

I wonder how will i react if he change his gender medically...i think i'm gonna faint...for a person that i was so close with during high school...i knew so much yet i knew so little...

Back to college...during the guy lecturer tutorial class...he came in to class and asked who took his McDonald nutrition book last week...i was absent that day...so weird...if he lost it he can get it again from McDonald...since its tutorial...we have to answer tutorial questions...as usual...i'm the first to get called...EVERYTIME in his class...the lecturer said and i quote "absent or not absent last week, you're still the first to be called"......grer...speechless...after that he asked the class who wants Domino's pizza coupon and Station 1 cafe coupon...no one in the class wanted and he gave it to me.......grer......of all the students why he want to give it to me?! Ugh

Since so many people failed mid-term - according to the lecturer, he decided to revised our marks after some discussion with Ms Kik...so i got a passing grade...it was a serious wake up call for me...and i got back his assignment...i got 50%...i was like shocked again...it was the first time i got such low marks for an assignment...SHOCKED again...all the groups got 50% except one group that got 67%...i was speechless...how can this happen?! We're gonna suffer during the final exam...

And finally, yesterday, the 1st tutorial lesson that Ms C. conduct for her subject, everyone need to present some stuff...after presenting a few points...i was stuck with one that i didn't know how to explained...i said "i don't know" and got some scolding by her...and she was really scolding...and used some really mean words...SHOCKED again!

So some classmates helped me out, and the whole class had to present something again, she said everyone did not prepared for her class...and since wangat group has 4 people left...during the next presentation only Dniz and me presented for our group...the other two just sat there and watch...UGH...i survived the 2nd presentation...i didn't prepared as much as Dniz, i just said whatever comes into my mind as i read the paper...they said i was calm...it was so scary looking at the lecturer and i saw everyone staring at me...especially the seniors...at least i made it without getting scold again...

Pair Work Assignment

It's the second pair work assignment for me in college, i think the first time was during Diploma with Suat...i remembered i finished the whole assignment myself without any help from Suat...LOL, and got really good remarks from the lecturer...

This time i got another pair work assignment, due on 10th August next Monday, but i started writing the essay few weeks before the deadline...at first i wrote a few paragraphs, when i continued again and again i realized i almost finish the whole assignment by myself...AGAIN!

After realizing that, i sent a copy to my assignment member...which she said that i wrote everything i can think of and there was nothing else for her to write...since i finished the assignment early, and the lecturer told us that we have to present it tomorrow...brought one week forward, at least i don't have to rush a last minute work...and able to finish it earlier.

Since i wrote 90% of the essay, my assignment member decided that she will do the power point slides and printing...=.="

I hope i wrote the essay in the correct way...it's my first time writing an argumentative essay trying to prove something is correct...i don't know but it seems i do all the writing in pair work assignments...

Come Clean

Today was the "wettest" day ever in college, me and 3 other friends was soaked in the rain...after lecture at 10am we went outside the college to photostat some stuff, after that we went for lunch outside of the college...(Lazy to check grammar and spelling mistakes)

We sat at the usual place where those cheap lousy big rotten holed umbrellas was, after ordering the drinks and food, i noticed the sky was becoming darker, after the food came, the winds started to blow our way...it was so strong...the cheap huge rotten umbrellas started to fall behind and in front of me...

I was like OMG...the people started to pack up their stalls...i felt so...so...shaky, and my friends hair was messed up by the wind...which i found funny...i was certain that the rain will start to pour in no time, i quickly gulp my noodles...swallow with a big bite everything i put it in my mouth without biting much of it...and i was the first the finish it...

Everyone finished their food except for Ms Slow Dniz, still eating slowly, LOL, i panicked again when the wind started to blow again and i saw trolleys rolling off the hill...we quickly packed our stuff and went into the stationary shop...

After buying some stationaries, we decided to go back to college even when the rain is still heavy, four of us shared 2 umbrellas, half way walking i had to stopped in the middle of the road, i can't walk after eating, and i was screaming and laughing very loudly, until one of the car alarm went off...LOL, Dniz shared the umbrella with me and said i had to stop in the middle of the rain...

So MT & Lap was in front of us, after Lap went and take another umbrella from her car outside the college, 4 people shared 3 umbrellas, and i was laughing very loudly outside the college, must be to excited over the rain...the other 3 was wondering why am i laughing...with those "expression"

Our clothes, bags, shoes, jeans was soaked already, and we had to watch out for the dog poop on the road, wondering whether it was flushed away by the heavy rain...so after entering the college via bus stop entrance, we decided not to walk through the muddy patches and instead took a big turn around the tennis court, and was soaked even more by the rain...

Since we had to climb up the hill towards block V, there's more water current when we climbed the hill...and the shoe was totally wet...and when we reached block V, we are drenched in the rain water and the library book in my bag...was half soaked!

I Did Not Sign Up For Researchs!

I hate research assignments! It's the worst assignment ever! First of all, we have to think of a topic that is related to a media...and there's no more topic with the word "effects" It's the 3rd time we are doing this lame assignment!

Lame because we don't care about the topic we are doing, when we want to research on something that we're more interested in but the lecturer bans it...so we have to think something else that we don't really like...

Since we are only allowed boring topics, the whole thing becomes boring, you do the things without passion, everything i did was "i'm doing this to pass my assignment" Finding journal is the worst part...we can't use commercial journals or short articles...so fussy! Another part that i hate...

The next thing to do is surveys, it's already terrible that we have to give out 100 survey forms, and now we have to do interviews...Interviews is the worst part!!! First we have to find some people to interview, and there's no guarantee we can get them! And we have to find a time to interview, a place and make many phone calls...i really hate this part!!! The inconvenience of traveling to places that's so far...and the time is so "middle of no where"

And the calculation of the survey results! And the report writing...SO ANNOYING!!!

Dato' Seri Ong Ka Ting Students & Politics Speech in TARC 16/7/2009

Today, Dato' Seri Ong Ka Ting came to my college to give a speech on "Students and Politics", so after our class ended at 2pm, we went to block V for our next class, Ms. Kik came in and told us she had to cancel the class because it seems the VIP will be arriving at 3pm and we have to be in the college hall at 2.30pm...So after we took our attendance in the class, we went to the college hall reluctantly, and the staff started to take our attendance by scanning our ID cards...and we were given a book before we enter the hall...It was already half occupied so we sat in the middle of the hall...after waiting for a while, the MC announced the arrival of Dato' Seri Ong Ka Ting, i was surprised that the VIP was quite early, so after the principal gave his welcome speech...and launching the event, Dato' Ong KT started to gave his speech...

At first he talked about his past...histories...how he got into the political world, at first is sounded boring, but when he continued on i was drawn into the speech...it's was an interesting story about his life...and i was curious to know more so i listened more and more...and others in the hall started to act "wildly"He also talked about why MCA or BN lost during the 308 election, how he decided to give up on his ministership in the cabinet, how he struggled without his ministership in MCA for 7 months...

After that was Q&A questions, students was given the chance to ask Dato' Ong questions...and since it's a closed door event...students asked really really controversial questions...eg the recent policy of changing maths and science syllabus to BM language, why government controls the media, what will MCA do if BN and PAS combine, how to encourage new generation to participate in political events...

There were more controvesial questions, i don't think i will post it here, and those students are some really angry people...when they mentioned the word "politician", it has some sinister tone in it...even the VIP noticed it...it's so obvious that the students are unhappy with certain things, and their faces says it all...even the girls...her body language was so "angry"...everyone "cheered" when students asked those controversial question...it was really entertaining

Due to the time constraint, the event had to end at 5pm and students was not allowed to asked more questions...

Pre Politics and Students talk Report

Dato Seri Ong Ka Ting will be coming to Tunku Abdul Rahman College tomorrow to give the students a speech on "Politics and Students" and attendance is compulsory for the students.

Warning: Ranting starts here

First of all, I AM NOT INTERESTED IN POLITICS! I never cared or bothered to read anything that is related to politics in the media...i don't understand what is politics...i can only think of one reason, maybe because i have never expose myself to the real world...never understand the struggles that people are facing in the real world...

Our lecturer told us that we will definitely be interested in politics after we step our foot in the real world...maybe the one thing that i'm not happy is that the MRR2 highway sucks, always traffic jam...can i relate that to any of the ministry? I don't think it's transport...is there a highway ministry or something? =.="

Anyway, back to the topic, why does the talk starts at 3pm?! It's so late in the afternoon! I 'm assuming that the VIPs will be late...and how long will the speech be? one or two hour? OMG, plus minus the time i think we can only leave the college around 5pm...and the highway will be so jam...argh

Why attendance is compulsory? One reason is because the college knows that the students won't be attending the talk, if the attendance is bad it will make the college look bad, so they have to force us to go by saying attendance is compulsory...but they never tell us the punishment if we're absent tomorrow..

It's like MQA situation all over again, some Universities proffesors came to interview the lecturers and students in our college, and i was one of the two "victims" in my class who ended up in the interview, the college told us we won't be able to graduate if we don't attend the interview.

Anyway...i guess i'll be attending the talk tomorrow...some classmates said that Dato OKT is a good speaker...maybe i will enjoy it...but i won't be able to have lunch because my class starts at 12pm and ends early at 3pm...and i have to go straight to the hall after class...must eat more in the morning...i'm not looking forward to the horrible traffic tomorrow after college...

Missing Gems

Life in college is not the same anymore without 2 classmates, it is becoming duller, boring-er, and "angrier"...one word - "Sien" And the 2 person is..........................Monica and Suat! LOL

What's the difference when they're not in the class?

Miss Monica: The only person i speak English with in college minus the lecturers, no more little anime chats, no more "wangating" around college, no more carpooling (i hate to drive EVERYDAY!), no more Japanese entertainment from her, no more debates that she always win

Miss Suat: no more gossips, no more complaining, no more HK entertainment from her, no more blackmailing, the only person who understand and get those weird things i say (like those short cut words...) no more Purple chat, no more changing timetable "noise", no more 7sin pose...

There's so many more things to list down, usually the things i say they can get it immediatly, if i tell Dniz, i have to wait a while until she gives me a reaction or she doesn't even get it...LOL...by the time she gets the joke or watever i say...i'm already laughing at her slow reaction...LOL...the need of getting immediate reaction...arrr...LOL, another reaction from Dniz "Oh....OH...OH!!!"

And Miss Lap is always missing in action even during important tutorial like today...went for holiday even there's a mid term, one word starting with L and ends with Y...and Miss M.Teen, i think she's the most normal of all, nothing abnormal, the jokes i can ask her is "Find BF?" "WAN LOU?"

Without Monica and Suat everything seems imbalance in the class...the worst thing is seeing some faces in the class wanna make me go "WAH WAH WAH" the agony of some people gave me in AMS...especially the "pirated" "fan ban" really want be to "belasah" them

The Horrible Timetable

Is it me or is the new timetable the worst one ever...i have to drive to college for a 2 hour class 3 times a week!!! One starts at 8am, one starts at 10am, one starts at 12pm...what is this???

I can't believed that when i reach college before 8am this morning and the queue on the road to enter into the college was already so long, i have to wait 2o minutes to get into the car park!!! And i got the last spot to park...after the class i realized that my car has big black ants crawling on it...euww, must not park near the trees in college

Park near block V the car will get red ants! Park near the lecture hall the car will get big black jungle ants...euww...

And why is the lecturers telling stories that's unrelated to the things we're learning, i'm already sleepy in the morning, have to drive and get stuck in the jam, gotta watch some lame videos the lecturer downloaded to entertain us in the morning, and i have to drive back again...oh boy i miss those days when the driver fetch me home after class...which i usually sleep on the way home and get a horrible headache after that =.="

I hate lecture halls, people from other course sometimes are so noisy chatting away when i'm already grumpy in the morning, and the lecturer pronounce Malaysia in the most disgusting tone...and can't stop talking about high class and low class people...ugh

Since i was stuck in the jam and was 10 minutes late, the lecture hall was almost full...i'm suprised it's so full especially when the class is so early...i went to sit in front on an empty row...alone, after started listening to lecturer...talk talk talk

After a while, the guy sitting next to me on the other row was sitting alone and started to laugh with himself, i was like...OMG, what?! Lonely much??? and he has the same shoe which luckily i didn't wear it to college...crap...i already own some clothes and bags that people are already using in the college, now shoes!? Isn't that wonderful? At least my shoe looks cleaner and newer than his...ugh...i don't know he was laughing alone and i restrained myself from looking at him anymore...it's not a beautiful sight

I changed seats when the lecturer told us to take a break...and i sat with my classmates and some new classmates...i don't know their names...(so called assistant course rep) I must go to college early tomorrow, must find a nice parking space! If i can wake up early...AGAIN

Ugh...still having holiday mood...all my cousins are still having holidayssss...even Gin is on a holiday now...some college different holidays not fun! It's gonna be a long long semester

His Name Is Christopher Lee

Hi people, it's been almost a week since i posted something, remember i said that i saw some Singapore actor at Imbi Palace restaurant, well i saw him on TV yesterday, he's the guy who acted in the Singapore TV series Rhythm Of Life on Astro AEC, his character name is Jun Jie...LOL, his real name is Christopher Lee...according to some realiable sources...

I think he looks better on TV than in real person...this is gonna be another short post, i went for my third advanced diploma lecture today...it was boring...and it was so hard to find a place to park my car in TARC, thanks to some people (Fra La La La La)...i was voted as the assistant course representative for AMS 2009/2010...

I hope the course rep won't be another Anthony...if not i will work my ass off like Monica...LOL...Chee Yin is the course rep....meoW...LOL, well i think he's a hardworking guy, i hope everyone voted for the right person this time after lesson learned, Anthony holds the title but Monica does his job...please don't let the same thing repeat again...my fingers are crossed

Dniz told me she voted for me and i was like...Hey! I don't want to come to collect exam slips during the end of every semester...and Dniz agreed...!!! LOL

Gotta sign off now...i'm blogging from the Executive Lounge in Mid Valley Megamall Boulevard Hotel...staying here tonight...woohoo...will blog about Johor later...

Beautiful Disaster

Well, we got our final exam results today. I passed and i knew i was getting a B for Ms Kik paper, since she never gave me an A before...

I posted the title as beautiful disaster because, some will be graduating and some won't be able to do so with us...it's sad...especially when we expect them to graduate with us...what are we going to do without Monica in AMS...Maybe things will change when the graduate list is out. fingers crossed for Monica

Shortest post ever...

Difference

I guess i can take a break now from blogging about American Idol for a few months, since it's on hiatus now. Some of you might also be relieved to hear about this, LOL. I know i've been blogging more on American Idol more than myself for the past few months...

This week is a new week in college, the diploma course will be over tomorrow, when the college release the final exam results. I said it will only end tomorrow because if we don't pass, we have to continue the diploma course...or just graduate from the course.

Yesterday, i went for the first lecture, a "new" lecturer for our course MS, since he was not our lecturer or tutor in the past. I can already feel my gloominess in the lecture hall, i'm in a gang of 7 friends including me, but now only 2 of us (Deniece) will continue on this long and winding road without the other 5 friends...it's going to be hard without the other 5 friends...we keep each other company all the time during the diploma course...time really flies.

What am i going to do without blackmailing Suat all the time, what to do without PawLing thrashy arguments, what to do without asking MT where is her "lou", what to do without "zhating" Pipii, and what to do without calling Sheu Li "Lap"...no one can replace each of them...so much difference...

From a big group to a duo...the difference is so huge, what to do?! Hopefully some will continue, so it won't feel so "lonely". There won't be a new wangat group, even if we form a new gang in the next few weeks, i don't think it will be called wangat group anymore...how can we find other wangat "jing ying". It's a bitter sweet moment for the next few weeks

No more TVB Hong Kong, Mr Purple chat with Suat in TARC...omg!!! I hope AMS will have at least 20 people...if not it's gonna be a boring class, even the lecturer told us not to buy the text book until we get our results...who knows we might get a big suprise when we see the results, to see what we don't want to see.

I'm not expecting much tomorrow when they release the exam results...I never get an A for any of Ms Kik subject before, it's always a B+ or B...so i'm guessing another B will be in the report card...

The wangat gang gathered before PawLing heads home to Kelantan yesterday without Lap ,it was a tiring day (because i drove the whole day) traffic jams and stuff like that, we went for Barbeque in Times Square at Bar.B.Q. Restaurant, it's kinda like a steamboat concept kind of restaurant, i'm suprised, very suprised, that the food there is nice...enjoyed it...even on a weekday morning there's quite many tables occupied, it's right next to Nippon Tei Restaurant, opposite of the cinema (3rd floor)

After that we went to watch Angels and Demons starring Tom Hanks, Ayelet Zurer, and Ewan McGregor, it's a thriller/ mystery kind of movie, which i rarely watch in cinemas...the last time i went to the cinema was to watch High School Musical 3: Senior Year. I prefer to watch a movie on a DVD at home, i can pause whenever i like, like yesterday situation, i had to pee so badly halfway throughout the movie...LOL...and i don't like sitting there and not moving...i was so restless in the cinema...i was feeling extra cold in the cinema...because i had to PEE!!! I kept asking why isn't the movie finished yet when Carmelengo sent the helicopter to the sky and went BOOM BOOM POW!I thought after the bomb went off, the movie was going to end, but it's not even close...i had to endure more and more...ugh...the story is quite good, but i don't like to see people getting tortured...burning people alive, drowning people alive, there's a few scenes i didn't see, i covered my eyes with my bag...LOL...even the beginning part i know there will be an ugly scenes...man eyeballs got ripped by the assassin...

I didn't know Science and Religion had conflicts in the past...(if what's said in the movie is true)...i won't be suprise if some country ban this movie...the next time i visit the cinema will most probably be July to watch Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince or maybe earlier, to watch Hannah Montana The Movie or 17 Again...or i might just buy the DvD...

Don't Forget To Remember Me

The final class for the diploma course ended today. It will be the last time that all 35 of us with be sitting in the same classroom together learning, laughing, yawning, staring, joking, gossiping, hating, loving, discussing assignment with each other.

Two years of diploma course ended in a blink of an eye. Time really flies. I still remember the first day of orientation very clearly, meeting new classmates, sitting around strangers, listening to our senior yapping (LOL). Hanging out at cafe's with lecturers during break time, going KLCC, Sungai Wang with new classmates.

During the two years, some left and new ones came in, there was so many ups and downs. Presenting assignment in front of the lecture hall in front of hundreds of strangers during the first semester, and reading out for lecturer for him in the lecture hall to the students, and those people can't even catch me reading one sentence! And i had to repeat and repeat! From taking trains, walking everyday, to carpooling, and now - drive.

One of the two to be selected for interviewing with the Professors from other local universities. Rushing assignment till 3a.m. in the morning. Going to college as early as 8.30am to find out class was canceled. Staying in the college after class doing nothing till late in the evening. One of the victim that lecturer like to use as an example.

From singing to acting horribly (reading people lines). Meeting new friends who unexpectedly turned out to be gay and stalked me on weekends! Going to MPH book fair to get really low priced storybooks and ended walking with heavy books for 30 minutes with classmate who also ended up going to David Archuleta concert too!

And now these people that i spent my two years with will be parting way, some might stay on continuing AMS, so might start working, some might change institutions, and some...get married and start a family! I'm still at a crossroad. Two more exam papers to complete the diploma course!!!Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same.
