Carrie Underwood - Cowboy Casanova

Carrie Underwood just released her new single Cowboy Casanova from her 3rd soon to be release studio album "Play On".

Carrie Underwood won American Idol back in 2005 and she's my favourite American Idol winner! Her new single is a little different from her previous songs, hmmm...how should i put it...Carrie displays her inner rock and sassy side in this song.

It's an up-tempo country song, the song is quite infectious after listening to it for a few times. Play On will be released on November 3rd 2009.

The Partner (2009) Korean Drama

This is another Korean drama that i watched during the final exam on KBS World.XD This Korean series is titled "The Partner", it's about two law firms that struggles to defend the accussed and those around them. Two brothers work in a two seperate law firms they don't really like each other. (for some reasons) The story starts with Kang Eun-ho (Kim Hyun-joo) trying to look for a job in Seoul to support her son. She got herself a job through her grandfather...and end up tangling with her charismatic and ruthless attorney colleague Lee Tae-Jo (Lee Dong-wook).

They always "argue and fight", one time when Tae-jo wants to break free from Eun-ho grasp because she was reasoning and holding him tightly, and he doesn't want to listen to her, as he was trying to break free, he struggled too hard and farted...HAHAHAHAHA...i've never seen such kind of scene in any Hollywood or HK shows...

This law series is so different compared to those i watched from Hong Kong TVB series, maybe i'm new to the Korean TV culture, i find their humour really cute, square, and little harsh and straighforward sometimes, which can really hurt people feelings, but i think it's their culture to be funny in such a way.

The way they handle cases is a little maybe alot different compared to the HK series. Attorneys calling their client a midget, clients touching their attorney boobies in the courtroom...so weird

In the law firm that Eun-ho and Tae-jo work there's this really cute & weird character - Choi Sun-yi (Shin Yi), she doesn't really show any emotion when she speaks. She's like "blur", but not blur, when one of her colleague shouted at her, she end up telling herself she likes that guy...LOL
(She's the one in the bottom middle, the guy on her left is the one who shouted at her) The main characters are having a fight in the scene below and their colleagues got a "free show"...LOL
Anyway, i will let you guys...i mean girls...to feast your eyes on Lee Dong-wook...LOL, you won't be seeing him for a while, he's currently serving his mandatory military service in South Korea, so he won't be acting for a while.

The series ended last week on KBS World. So you gotta buy the DVD when it's in stores if you haven't or want to watch it.

Slumber Party August 2009

This post is long overdue, one week before the final exam i went down to JB to meet my cousins. There was no special occasion, just some normal visiting/ holiday/ fun. I think this year we met and travel north and south the most time compared to the past.

I drove my cousins car down to JB (just for a while on the highway) too many lorries to handle, you know how much i hate lorries if you've seen me drive to college...When we reached JB it was already 3pm. And my cousin was already on his way for his tuition...

So my family and Gin's family went for a snack nearby, Gin didn't go (TARC having final exam soon) but i went...LOL...

Since we have nothing to do (4-7pm) and we don't want to sit around the house doing nothing...all of us went for bungalow shopping...LOL...the bungalows in JB is quite nice, not really expensive compared to KL prices...

After that was dinner, we went to some seafood restaurant...i think i celebrated one of my birthday here when i was in primary school...i think the place is called Senibong...we had lobsters shashimi, crabs, prawns, fishsss...i can't remember the other dishes...

After taking bath, we started the "party" for the night...erm...i don't know what my twin cousins was doing downstairs, but we were in the room playing Wii...after a while we were "chased out" from the room...coz it was getting late...so we took the Wii out to the living hall...=.="Since i was tired of playing the game for 2 hours...i stopped and went online to watch some videos...guess what i watched?We slept around 1am...i'm already melting...The next morning i woke up at 8am...while the rest of the boys was still sleeping...grer...Before showering, the first thing i did was playing some online computer game on my cousins pc...Battle Forge. It was quite addictive...i took him to some game shop in Mid Valley to buy that game, it cost a whopping RM160!Around 10am we went for breakfast in New Hong Kong Restaurant for dim sum...another restaurant i went when i was really young in primary school...After breakfast we went home for another round of Wii, my brother went shopping in Tebrau City...so everyone met for lunch again in town...for Bak Kut Teh...i think everytime i go to JB i will surely go to this place for BKT.

After lunch, my cousin went for tuition again...and the rest of us went to another shopping mall...to buy some DVDs...i bought a few...wow...i didn't know 1 DVD in JB is only RM4...omg.

We left JB around 5pm and head to BP...nothing much happen there, just hang around at the petrol station for a while...and went to another cousin house...nothing exciting in BP. Oh there is, i was bitten by mosquitos the moment i get out of the car in my cousin house...zzzzz

He Who Can't Marry (2009)

When I was bored of reading my notes during the last exam, the only thing I could do is to watch TV. And since American Idol won't be back till Jan 2010, and there's no Wisteria Lane or Mode Magazine until October...there wasn't much to watch on Astro. I lost my internet connection during that period.

I came across this Korean Drama/Comedy on KBS World (Channel 303). It's called "He Who Can't Marry". It's a story about a 40 year old single architect who lives alone and don't have many friends because he don't know how to communicate with other people.

It's my first time watching a Korean series and i really like the show. For once i get to watch different people on TV. It's more of a comedy than a drama. The architect Jo Jae-hee (by JiJin-hee) is quite a funny character. Imagine a 40 year old guy who sits in his apartment balcony at night drinking milk and admiring the stars. He has his own way of cooking his beef too. His eyes sparkles everytime he looks at his beef. LOL

Then Jae-hee met this doctor Jang Moon-jeong (Uhm Jung-hwa) when he had hemorrhoids...in the funniest way...when he was admiring the stars and listening to some Orchestral music, his neighbour Jeong Yu-jin (Kim So-eun) was banging on his door complaining that his music was too loud, but ended up sending him to the hospital.

This architect wanted to leave the hospital upon hearing Dr. Jang wanted to give him an anal test. Saying he's fine even though he can hardly walk!After a while in the show, Jae-hee found his neighbour Yu-jin fainted in her apartment for alcohol poisoning and sent her to the hospital. The same night (also his birthday) he was sent to the hospital again by the same ambulance (funny scene) because the did not take his medication for his hemorrhiods. This time Dr. Jang did not show him any mercy and gave him a forced anal check by pulling off his pants...LOL...and a love story begins...

Taylor Swift Interrupted

The MTV Video Music Awards 2009 for Best Female Video goes to Taylor Swift's You Belong With Me. When Taylor was accepting her award, Kanye West came onstage and protest that Beyonce deserve that award...(since most of the videos have been removed in YouTube, i've replaced videos with lower qualities)

I think that moment was really embarrassing for Taylor Swift, everyone in the audience was booing at Kanye and gave Taylor a standing ovation...i think if it was Katy Perry or Pink they might have hit him with the mic already...LOL

Few minutes later, Taylor had to perform the song in the train...lol...i can't even stand properly in the train and those people are dancing in the train...LOL

After that, when Beyonce won the award for Video of The Year, she invited Taylor onstage again to continue her speech...which was really nice...and Kanye West is really rude for humiliating someone onstage like that...if he wants Beyonce to win an award...maybe he should start his own award show! What a douche bag!

The Mystery Question

The final exams for Advanced first semester is finally over...and it was horrible...before that...i lost my internet connection a week before the exam started...actually it was a good thing...i can concentrate more on my notes and books, and i got back the connection yesterday...a day before freedom...LOL

So my hotmail account exploded with 250++ emails over 2 weeks, my blogS rotted, my facebook account notifications is longer than a girl shopping list, and the money in Nuffnang increased too...WUAKAKA...LOL...so without any internet, i only entertainment is the Hong Kong TVB drama series, Disney Channel, Star World...basically Astro...and The Nanny!!!

Studying can be so tiring for Advanced...and i can't be studying whole day...so i watched some Hokkien drama on 8TV, i don't even understand i had to depend on the subtitles...i don't watch Hokkien shows...i was bored and stressed up...

Back to the exams...i think i might need to fill up the "yellow form" for the first time...OMG, thanks to that Sour Vegetable Pork lecturer...coming out with a question that i can't find the answer in the text book or in the notes...even after the exam, no one knows what's the answer for the question...i asked SFA but...she said no one knows the answer...OMG...and she told me to pray...wow...when was the last time i prayed to God?...

That question cost me 30 MARKS!!! and i lost 10 marks to the 3rd question! 40 marks gone...plus the other question...minus here minus there...oh no...i don't want to read the same stuff again for the third time...we did the same paper in DMS...Why TH are we learning the same stuff over and over again??!!?!!

Imagine studying 50 page of textbook and only 3 page came out...sucks right? Haizzzz...i hope the crap that i wrote for that Mystery question is the stuff the lecturer wants...or maybe i can google for the answer...ugh, better not, i rather be prepared for the worst when the results comes out...PRAY

Might update blog once every two days since it's the holidays...or once a day...Movies! TV! and stuff to crap...
