Group One

For the next 3 weeks, 36 contestants will be split into 3 groups for viewers to vote and a wild card round for the judges pick.

And moi (DUH...me lah) will be picking 2 favourites from each group, a guy and a girl. from each group. And 2 least favourite, also a guy and a girl. So here's my choice for group 1 from American Idol Season 8.

Tatiana Nicole Del Toro and Danny Gokey

Tatiana Nicole Del Toro, 23 years old, we first met her at the San Francisco auditions. I just can't resist her crazy personality, drama queen attitude, the non-stop laugther, and of course - the voice. Many people don't really like her, even my mum. I was not invited to a Idol party because my idol group gang don't understand why i picked her...well, let's see how well will she do on Idol. She's a real life Sharpay Evans!










Danny Gokey, 28 years old, we first met him at the Kansas City audition with his best friend Jamar, but was booted out at the judges mansion, Danny has a sob story and also a nice voice. Even Paula gave him a standing ovation during Hollywood Week. I think he will make it into the Top 12. And he thinks he's good...which made me laugh

Stephen Fowler, 26 years old, he auditioned in New York last year, i don't seeing remember him during the auditions, i remembered him on day 4 of Hollywood Week, he's the guy who sang David Cook's winning song, and he forgot his lyrics and he walks off the stage, i wonder how he got through.












Jackie Tohn, 27 years old, we saw her at the New York auditions, she the one who auditioned half way and the props behind the judges went crashing down! Can't really remember what she sang during Hollywood Week, not really a favourite.
