Shocking Statements

Facebook is a place where you stay connected to all your friends and families and acquaintance, knowing what they're up to recently...stuff like that, useful for posting announcement to your classmates too...

And the purpose of this blog post is that I saw a really shocking statement posted by one of my friend whom I met during a high school tuition class. This is what the person posted: "swear to guan yim ma i'll nvr buy a RM25 dress for clubs, fine dining or special occasion...sibei cheap ok???!!! imagine if ur fren saw ur dress in sungei sold for RM25 and on the same day she saw u wearing it to attend some party at mandarin oriental...! *but someone did*"

I was so shocked to see that the person posted something like that on Facebook where everyone reads it...I was really angry to see such a statement, from reading the statement I guess you can tell if it's a guy or girl who posted it...If people want to be stuck up they should keep it to themselves...I can't imagine how many people feelings were hurt if they read such a statement from their friends...(well I guess the person friends are stuck up as she is since I know one of her friend too, who is also pretty much stuck up as well)

And someone who is stuck up as well left a comment on the status saying "Those who think otherwise with us, go bang your head on the wall. Actually we dont so bad, they wan tak (don't) glam den its not our prob. We glam can ady. HAHAHAHA" WTH is wrong with these people? Being so bitchy and arrogant and vain at the same time...BTW, you stuck up vain bitch who lives in the south of my cousin state, I have so many branded clothes and bags that I don't wear or use them at all, I just leave them in my closet for my eyes and I don't wear them to those glamorous occasion that I go (It's true, I have so many clothes like Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and etc etc but I've never wear them before...hope I won't buy anymore, I'm wasting money and not wearing them)...Who wants to see me? Let alone...who wants to see you? I just wear something that matches the occasion...Glamorous MY FOOT!

Do you think people will want to buy a RM25 dress to a grand occasion? So what if it's cheap? Maybe the person likes the dress so much or it looks good on them that's why they bought it...Some people could not afford to buy nicer or expensive dress like her, everyone is not as fortunate as those unlucky ones. As a fellow ex-SSH student, I think she dropped out because she could not stand the stench of our college for being too...as she would say...smells sibei cheap? LOL...So after spending few semester in SSH I guessed she didn't understand the term "Everyone thinks others are the same as themselves"...haha...

My own story of getting back at people. I hate going to Pavilion and The Gardens to buy those clothes that I keep in the closet for my eyes...everyone who works there is so stuck up as if they're superior to those who dress "cheaply"...I can't believe the same thing happened when I went to Levi's yesterday in Mid Valley or a few days ago...these salespeople working there only serve people or judge their potential customers by their looks and appearance, there wasn't many people in the store at that time, I took one and asked for a size (no one bothered to serve me and I don't really want someone to follow me around), tried it, paid for it, LEAVE in less than 15 minutes...stared at a few of the salesperson as I leave, how dare they judge me like that...most of the people who are working in branded stores are just plain rude...

Another statement that she posted on her blog "poor people don't own a car pls, i repeat! if you're poor don't own a car!" I don't understand why she said those mean things...How can she say things like that when her parents are still feeding her? I was wondering whether did she watch too many Hollywood movie that she got sucked into the movie world...Is she even still living in a real world?

Why poor people can't drive? They paid for their cars! They paid for their road tax! Although they are poor but they still have self-respect...I guess they have no common sense for wearing a Chanel or a Coach bag to college...I don't think people will even notice what brands are those...

A RM25 cheap dress...FOR YOUR INFORMATION...I LIKE to wear my RM20 t-shirt to college and I am still wearing it after 3 years!!! Want me to go further? I'm still wearing another of my RM20 t-shirt that I bought during form 2!!! And I LOVE wearing it!!! And I still wear my torn Levi's everyday although I have another few at home...does that make me cheap?! I guess that vain bitch wants me to bang my head against the wall now because I look like a cheapo wearing those cheap t-shirts..HAHA. Don't make yourself regret if you said those things to me, because I will make your life so miserable that it will make your head spin!

To make you feel better, I guess you don't know that teenager working at the coffee shop as a part-timer who is cleaning your table is actually the son of a billionaire whose company is the Top 10 in Malaysia huh?! I guessed you just asked him to pour some tea for you in a rude tone too...

Why not you guys make a guess what course did she took when she was in TARC SSH? I think it seem fairly obvious if you're from SSH to know what kind of people speaks like that. I'm not judging, even the lecturer told us that they're just plain rude and speak without thinking or using their brain.

Royce' PotatoChip Chocolate

Chocolate makes you happy, I tested that theory during the final exams period. During the exam period, I was so stressed up with few of the subject, fearing the worst outcome with so many level 5 subjects. When I was half way through the exams, I got this "gift" all the way Japan.A thoughtful box of chocolate potato chips flown in from Japan...This was something different, usually when we travel around internationally, we will surely buy boxes and boxes of the chocolates at the airport or at the shopping malls of the country we visit (free of tax i think).Hmmm...after testing that theory where they say "Chocolate makes yo happy"...I don't think it really makes you happy, but somehow it can lift your mood. The chocolate is quite nice, not sugary sweet, and the chips tasted like...chips...it taste different...sweet and salty.
There's one Royce' Chocolate outlet in Malaysia, at KLCC's Isetan 3rd floor. I went there once and saw those chocolates are wrap in very nice wrappers. RM50 for a box of chocolate with a cartoon theme, the price seems very reasonable to me since its flown in from Japan. I wanted to buy it but decided not to...since I'm not a big fan of chocolates, my fridge is full of those chocolates that my family bought from overseas, but no one eats them. I only eat them once in a while when I'm hungry. I only like the choc from Holland that they bought, forgot the name...

Katharine McPhee - Unbroken

Katharine McPhee just released her second studio album titled Unbroken. The songs are so much better than her debut album!!! There's no more dancy disco kind of songs in the second album...and Katharine has gone blonde for her new album. My favourite track from the album is "Had It All". It reminded me of Hilary Duff's "Do You Want Me?" There's a little similarities with Hilary's Do You Want Me? Guess what, the songwriter for both songs is from the same person - American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi! No wonder it reminded me of Hilary's song... And there's a song titled "How", it has a catchy tune and a little fairytale feeling to it...I really like this song, of all the song this is my favourite track and it makes you feel happy! A happy song?!Talking about fairytale, Katharine also recently recorded a song titled "Let Your Heart Sing" for Disney's Tinker Bell movie. The song is also included the movie's soundtrack and its a nice one. Katharine McPhee is the runner-up of American Idol Season 5 back in 2006.

Happy New Year!

Time flies...Read Between The Lines will be turning 1 in less than 15 days. And its been a while since I updated. I've been really busy with the college assignments and travelling a lot to the south celebrating birthdays, Christmas, and a "belated" wedding dinner...

Let's see...what happened did in December 2009...went to Malacca to celebrate my 21st birthday with my cousins and stayed in Holiday Inn. Nice five star hotel and was charged more for the room with sea view...

Went to BP to celebrate Christmas, cousins around the world came back...stayed in cousin's hotel and charged the Japanese meal we had to the room bill...LOL, we occupied 5 rooms (excluding adults) and made prank room calls with each other, ran in the hallway, took the elevator up and down, used the emergency stairs to our rooms, got unexpected free stuff from the receptionist when we taught we have to pay for it upon request...that's what you do and get in your cousin's hotel!

Went to Johor Bahru and had steamboat at cousins' new house and stayed in Redang house while the adults stayed in the Austin house...went to Old Town Coffee Cafe in our pyjamas (so embarrassing) for supper...I was already half asleep in the cafe...

It's week 13 of the college semester and we have 2 mid-terms and 1 more assignment to hand in...it's really hectic this semester...final exam starts on the day of RBTL 1st anniversary...

I'm really worried for my statistics paper as I have no idea what I learned in the past 12 weeks, statistics means maths - I'm struggling to understand to subject and the tutor told us each chapter is coming out during the final exam...I think I need the yellow paper for the 1st time!

Another lecturer told us in order to pass Mr. EuroDeli's paper we need to memorize the textbook and puke everything you read in the text book on the answer sheet. OMG...I'm so not ready for the final exam!

We won't be going back to college next semester as the college will be sending us for our internship...And many of us are still waiting for our employers to call us for interview...some are rejected and some are left no where...OMG...I hope they don't call when I need to study for my final exam!
