This week the American Idol 8 Top 8 performs songs from the year they were born, and they have to liberty to choose any genres that is their cuppa tea?!
Danny Gokey started off the show, he sang Stand By Me, at first i didn't recognize the song, he changed some tunes and once again...Danny ended with a BANG! As usual, Danny did great once again!
After Danny was Kris Allen, this week Kris did an up-tempo song and was surrounded by screaming girls while performing, i don't think the song fits him, he sound better singing a ballad, the instruments was actually louder than his voice.
Lil Rounds sang Tina Turner's What's Love Got To Do With It, i heard this song many times on Lite FM, and her rendition of it was not even close to the original version, Lil was trying to imitate Tina but she failed miserably!Then Anoop Desai showed his "True Colors", Anoop did really good this week, he should sing slower songs, it's was really good!
Scott MacIntyre sang The Search Is Over with an electric guitar for the first time on stage, he should stay behind a piano, it was a little boring and he can really talk...when Ryan Seacrest is giving out his numbers he was still talking...LOL
Allison Iraheta performed I Can't Make You Love Me, it was a great vocal performance, and she look so much better this week, it was so funny when she responded to Simon's comment"Nobody Likes Me??"
Matt Giraud sang Part Time Lover, it was soulful, great vocals, he wore a nice hat, nice song, i thought it was his best performance yet.And finally, Adam Lambert...OMG, i hate to say this but he was really really really good this week, i didn't hate it, no Fantasia screech...it was slow and a soft "Mad World" He did really good and he should stop screeching in the future...LOL
