I received a really interesting email that compares the difference between Western and Asian people, and i applied myself to the situations in the emails...
In A Party
Western: Only gather with their own group
Asian: Focus on one activity that is hosted by the CEO
Me: Let's see, in a party...i do hang out only with my friends...Western-1, Asian-0
What's Trendy
Western: Eat Healthy Asian Cuisine
Asian: Eat expensive Western Cuisine
Me: This is hard, i eat Chinese food everyday because it's the healthiest among others, but i do spent on expensive western too...but not always...so...Western-2, Asian-0
Opinion
Western: Talk to the point
Asian: Talk around the circle, if opinion is different
Me: Another hard one...i do both sometimes depending who am i talking to...so...W-3, A-1

Asian: Angry but still smiling

Me: I do go to malls on weekends, cause parents wants me to go grocery shopping, but usually i will just stay at home and watch some dvd...W-7, A-1

Asian: Talk and laugh loudly as if they own the restaurant
Me: Definitely western, even at coffee shops or hawker stall, i can't stand the noisy atmosphere...W-8, A-1
Three Meals A Day
Western: Good Meal for Once a day is sufficient
Asian: At least 3 good meals a day
Me: Errr...on weekdays when i go to college, i eat like a western, on weekends usually i can eat anything at home...so it's even? W-9, A-2.
The Child
Western: The kid is going to be independent and make his own living
Asian: Slog whole life for the child, centre of your life
Me: I'm not really working yet...so Asian wins...W-9, A-3
Conclusion
I'm more western...i can't deny that the 3 meals a day, in a restaurant, Sundays, contacts, and what's trendy are so true...but i'm glad i still have some Asian in me...and my friends said that i have no life because of the Sundays and What's Trendy point...they can't deny that, they know how conscious i am when i choose my food, no clubhouse in college because of the fried heaty stuff, doesn't want to hang out on Sundays, would not even want go to the mall if i have nothing to buy, rather go for movies/malls after class...so please, is not that i don't have a life...it's just a different life...i adopted too many western culture...
